One of my all time favorite 80's movies. There's a scene where they are almost out of air & have to get a tank of oxygen from the space station. They finally hook it up, and they all start breathing the air right from the vents. Ahhhh.
That's how I feel right now. Fed tax refund, State tax refund, Jason's 1st paycheck, AZ property check in the mail. I have my face to the vent today. Ahhhhh. I can breathe! And maybe go shopping! (And I'm a big nerd, but you knew that already.)
I can't wait to pay off all of our credit cards when the AZ check comes!!!!
Re: Ever see Space Camp?
What a lovely feeling that must be! I hate being stressed about money. I've never seen that movie though.
BTW, LOVE the new pic of S in your siggy! Look at those beautiful eyes!
The first time I saw Space Camp the movie was AT Space Camp. I had somehow missed it in the 80's (along with seriously every other movie that came out in the 80's . . . I haven't even seen Back to the Future). But I love i and I know exactly which scene you're talking about.
Very young Joaquin Pheonix. Weird!
BTW, I was looking at Scarlett's pictures on facebook and J looked over my shoulder and laughed (with delight, of course). Her expression is fantastic!
I heart this movie!!
JackandCassie - woman! I will host an 80s movie night for you to catch you up on all the 80s (I seriously heart the 80s btw) - but only the good ones - i.e. Back to the Future, with a little Molly Ringwald and the gang thrown in for good measure.
Also, I ditto the comments about your pic of S - so cute! And beautiful eyes!
I second the 80's movie night for Cassie. I will bring Say Anything. However I will admit that I just saw Young Guns for the first time over the weekend.
