Privacy landscaping ideas
We have a row of large arborvitae serving as a privacy wall on the side of our backyard, but the arborvitae is not looking so hot these days and is slowly dying. I'd like to tear them out but need to find something to replace instead that offers some privacy. The neighbors have a pool and the other backyard neighbors I'd prefer to not have to look at....anyone have any ideas?

What zone/city are you in, and how far apart are they planted?
They could be overcrowded. My neighbors have a row of leylands. They removed every other tree. The remaining space will fill in over time so there was no need to remove all of them and replant.
I planted a row of Thuja Green Giants the other day to hide my other neighbor's yard.
