If you like wine...

I highly recommend Swedish Hill Concord Grape - yummy red wine that's almost like juice. Good for me since I'm not a big red wine person (and cheap - 1.5L for 12.50).

If you're a wine drinker, what are your faves?

Re: If you like wine...

  • Folie A Deux Menage a Trois Red  and L'Orval Chardonnay are my go-to wines.

  • I love wine, but I must admit I usually just buy whatever is recommended at Trader Joe's.

I'm usually a red girl, but I love Oyster Bay Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

Definitely wine. Her husband bought it when he went home to New York - there are several wineries near where he grew up. They actually paid their wedding photographer in wine, lol.

The menage a trois sounds familiar - I may have to scout it out. I like some reds, its just a matter of finding a really like.

There's a place in Savannah, Meinhardt Wines, that has a red I like called Hopeulikit Red (Hope you like it).

San Sebastian in St. Augustine, FL has a white that I like, though I admit I'm a sucker for a good Riesling or White Zin, or a Chenin Blanc.

  • Yummm, that sounds good, I will have to remember that one. I dont drink to much  red wine because I dont like the taste, but cant wait to try that. I onkly drink white ... my fave is Chateau St. Michelle Riesling . Nice and sweet , and whenever I give it to people they cant believe it is so cheap!

I looked on their website and it shows the Concord Grape as juice and the Country Concord as wine...is it that one?

Wow I suck! Yes, it is Country Concord - I musta been tired last night since I was on their site too.

  • I like both red and white, but don't have a particular brand or type that I always get.  I try pretty much anything.  There is a Reisling by a local MD winery that I love though...Basignani Riesling.  DH and I have been meaning to check out the vineyard there and go for tastings since it's not too far from our house...maybe in a few months lol!

  • I miss wine.  Sad

We love the Menage (red), and also Conundrum (a white).  There are numerous pinot noirs and cabernet sauvignons (both red) I would recommend, but the names are escaping me at the moment.

Ah, I see we have the same wine buying strategy. ;)

  • I am a crack addict to Hazlitts Red Cat - Local winery, but for whites I love Vignoles
