1. I spent 99% of the night doing homework, I went to bed at one, and up at 6 to finish this project. I will work 10 hours today, then go to class, I'm exhausted.

2. All I can think about is Starbucks, but there isn't one it my small town.

3.I think I may need a Redbull today, however, whenever I have I turn into a crack head on a sugar high.

4. Ricky Martin is gay. . .. . .  didn't we already know this?

5. I love my dogs, my puppy has gotten very big.

6. I'm sad that winter is over, only b/c there will be no more late start work days, or early outs due to weather.

7. I have NO plans for Easter.

9. I've told my self that I'm going to start running every morning like I used too. . . I was suppose to start yesterday.

10. Rainbow Chip frosting is my favorite. . . I wish I made frosting like Betty Crocker.

I'll do 11 b/c I'm feeling risky. . .

11. I've stopped biting my nails. . . . my worst habit. I've done this since I was 5 or younger.

Re: TTT

    1. I just started ttt and now my next class is coming in.  I do this every week so this is why I don't get one done.  I just never can get back to it.
    2. I am very excited about easter on sunday.  E has a very cute dress I need to get some things for her basket but I will do that on Friday
    3. I am also really excited to dye eggs.
    4. Ella has an early intervention evaluation today.  I am very nervous about it.  In some ways I want her to continue to qualify but I am terrified to hear really how far behind she is.  It is easy to kind of convince myself that she is not delayed when I am alone in my house but I know this is going to be very eye opening and perhaps a little sad.
    5. I am loosing my voice today which is really crappy when you are a teacher and talk all day.
    6. I can not wait for this rain to go away.  I feel like I could just curl up in a ball in my bed until it stops raining
    7. S got into all three schools and is going to go to B.C.  it is ranked 14th in the country and is the closest to our house.  I am very excited for her.
    8. Daycare is set.  I am very happy about this.
    9. E loves puffs and would eat them all day if I let her.
    10. I want to spend my days planning E's first birthday party.  S thinks I am crazy.  I am just so excited for it.
    11. I did it I got through!

  • 1.  I am feeling much better than I was yesterday.  YAY!

    2.  We are having a dinner celebration/lecture tonight for Social work month. If there was ever a day I didn't want to be at work till 8pm...

    3.  Isn't Ricky Martin coming out like Liberace coming out?  Duh.

4.My poor credit card. Between clothes and shoes and airline tickets...oh my.

    5.   The weather this weekend is going to be amazing. I am so excited.

    6.  We really need to get on the ball and plan the boys' b-day party. I can't believe it is going to be in 6 weeks.  even more hard to believe, I can't believe they are going to be 4y.  Where has the time gone?

    7.  Because I just realized #6 I have been hunting for invites on Etsy. People are so creative!

    8.  I need to start a packing list for our upcoming trip. I used to think that once the kids weren't babies any more, we'd have less to pack.  That doesn't really seem to be true. Hmmm.

    9.  My SIL's Facebook posts are so freaking dramatic for someone who is nearly 50 years old. If you have an issue with someone (most notable her brother/my BIL) you really don't need to air it on Facebook.  It just makes you look petty.

    10.   I can't believe it is only 11am. Sigh....

    11. Ricki - I still bite mine too. Been doing it since I can remember - and now Gray does it too. Tongue Tied

  • 1) I'm a terrible nail biter. Sprout asks why i do it and i dont have a good answer for him.

    2) We're also feeling behind on birthday party planning.  I'm caught up on whether I want an outdoor party at the house, or something booked inside.  I just dont want to deal with another rain-out party like A's 30th.

    3) We have pictures this weekend and a month ago i vowed to lose weight for them...yeah, i haven't lost a pound....

    4) In some ways time is flying, but in others it feels like its standing still.

    5) vacation next week! whoo hoo!

    6) But its with my parents and the first time travelling with the kids...so i hope it goes well.

    7) Rosebud hates the car.  HATES it.  She screams bloody murder and is inconsolable the entire time its in motion.

    8) That fact is going to make our aforementioned vacation a little less pleasant considering we're driving hours to our destination. I'm mostly feeling bad for Sprout since he sits right next to her...maybe we'll finally let him in on the fact that the van has a dvd player and let him watch one with earphones.

    9) Speaking of which, we have a sesame street dvd thats overdue to the library...shame shame

    10) Andrea "gave" me a spa day IOU and i'm struggling to pick a good day - whats wrong with me??

That's fantastic! Please give S my congratulations!!

      1. When is my baby going to arrive?

      2. This pregnancy is really ending soon? That makes me sad.

      3. My mother keeps saying that the baby shouldn't arrive until they get here but needs to arrive before they leave.  Umm...okay.  I know she is kind of serious b/c it is her first grandchild and all but it's rather annoying.

      4. I don't think my dad is taking his recovery from surgery as serious as he should.  It's his shoulder so he keeps trying to do things with his arm that he shouldn't yet.

      5.  I hope Bluedaisyus and her wife are doing okay.  It must be so hard to help a friend through a loss of a son when they have their beautiful new boy.

      6. It's lunchtime!

      7. Today is the last day my dog will be here for pet therapy.  Last week the kids gave her a card and gift certificate to Petco so she wouldn't feel left out when the baby was getting new toys.  How cute is that?

      8. I'm really only on #8?

      9. It's raining...pouring today.  The weekend is supposed to be beautiful though.

      10. It is very very hard to let go of my job and watch my co-worker take parts.  She does it so much differently than I.  In and of itself that isn't a bad thing.  But I know events and I know her way is going to create more work for her later.  :-(

    1. 1. Our network and email is down at work, but the internet still works. I'm thinking that is not good for productivity :)

      2. So excited for the *perfect* weather coming up Thurs-Sun - sunny and in the 70s-80s! Skirts and flip-flops! Woohoo!

      3. We will be taking advantage of the weather on Sunday to drive to the country for an Easter picnic. I found one of my favorite candies - Turkish delight - in one of my favorite flavors - ginger - to take with us.

      4. My looser pants have reached the point where I can pull them down without unbuttoning them, and my tighter pants fit again.

      5. I'm happy with how my body has adjusted to the calorie level the clinic put me on, but I can't stop waiting to fail. It's hard not to when I have a history of 100% failure on diets. But having the support of the clinic has helped a lot and I'm hoping at some point I can move past this and start just believing that it's going to work.

      6. I've been reading our New Zealand travel guide and I can't believe how much stuff there is to do there - swimming with sharks, whale watching, hiking, skiing, hanggliding, amazing food, wine and beer, there are glaciers and fiords - how is two weeks going to be enough to do all of this??

      7. Jen's mom is coming for a visit in a few weeks and I'm trying to figure out what she would enjoy doing. She doesn't really like museums or going out to eat or movies and that's what our visitors usually want to do. I wonder if she likes games? Hiking? You'd think I would know after being with Jen for 10 years, but we rarely visit with her when her husband and assorted other family members are around and there is usually some kind of schedule outside of our control.

      8. Jen's boss is retiring and her last day is tomorrow. Jen is really sad about it (as I will be when my boss inevitably retires), but I think the new challenges are going to be great for her.

      9. See above; she will now have a direct report employee to supervise for the first time, and she got to interview and hire him. I am strangely jealous of this person?? Not like, I want the job, but more like: keep your hands off my woman, whippersnapper.

      10. I'm ready for lunch!

    3. 1. I'm back to work today after calling in pregnant yesterday.

      2. The rest really did me good, and I was able to leisurely work on the nursery a bit, which felt great.  Henry now has some clean clothes in a dresser!

      3. I still cannot believe my car got hit this weekend.  I'm thankful to be okay, and that my car is still drive-able, but the damage seems to be worse than I first thought it was.  We won't have to pay since it was entirely the other driver's fault, but the disruption is still such a pain - I need to take it get the damage appraised tomorrow, and then it's probably going to be in the shop for like a week, meaning I'll have to drive a rental, which kind of stresses me out.

      4. I brought in cookies to work to thank my coworkers for my surprise baby shower last week. I want to eat them. Smile

      5. I am so tired of commuting in bad weather! All this rain!  My walk from the train to the office this morning was awful. I was carrying my purse, lunch bag, and the cookies, and fighting the strong winds with my umbrella.  My feet were getting wet because the only shoes that fit my swollen feet are no good in the rain.  By the time I got to my building, I felt ready for a nap.

      6.  Until braving the elements, I had a decent morning.  I was actually ready early meaning I had enough time to pose for C to take a bump pic (in the nursery!).  I'll upload it tonight and will finally have something for PIP Wednesday on the Bump board!

      7. After today - 10 days of work left!

      8. I feel like my to-do list is never ending.

      9. I'm glad we moved before Henry's arrival, but holy crap is it hard to move and pull together a new house while this freaking pregnant.  C having to work so much is no help.

      10.  We ordered some art work for the nursery over the weekend - I hope it comes tomorrow!

We have 10 kids that we'll invite.  I think we'll do a BBQ for our friends at another time and not really tie it to their b-day since we don't want people to feel obligated to buy presents (we're also asking that people don't bring gifts to the party since between us/grandparents they'll get a lot of stuff - in addition to everything they already have!)  This is the first year we've had a "kid" party. For the past 3 parties, it has mostly been our friends and a couple of kids (most of our friends don't have kids.)

I am bummed we didn't get the early slot at the alley. They won't bowl till 12:30 and eat till 1:30. Oh well. I am sure that the kids will survive one day of a late lunch/no nap.

    6. 1. I want today over with but I want good news

      2. I feel like my family is counting on me to make things right today but I am not the judge. I can only do so much. Pressure!

      3. S and I spent most of last night laughing hysterically as I praticed my testimony is different accents. We are special like that, LOL!

      4. Matzo ball soup is in my future, yummy.

      5. Can I go back to sleep? So tired.

      6. I feel so bad for Sandra Bullock. I just want to hug her and provide an endless supply of ice cream to her.

      7. In a burst of optimisim I looked at Disney cruises for next year. What a nice way to finalize an adoption, don't you think? Just saying...

      8. Suddenly LMC has nothing to wear. Where did this child's clothes go? Time to shop!

      9. I can't lie, I am really scared and nervous. The butterflies are out in full force.

      10. I don't know what I would do without all of your support and encouragement, thank you!

      1. Babies operate on military time...there is no a.m. or p.m.
      2. My little girl neighs like a horse before she cries and my little boy sounds like he is trying to start a car whose alternator is going out before he cries.
      3. The tv commercial where the little boy is peeing like a fire hydrant is not an exaggeration.
      4. A person can function on 15 minutes of sleep.
      5. It is really hard to telework with twins.
      6. Those green suction bulbs are a God-send!
      7. Pampers Swaddlers are the best!
      8. I miss sleeping in my bed...I can't snuggle in a recliner.
      9. I love taking pictures of the kiddos...and I have never been a picture taking person.
      10. It is hard to get all the laundry folded at one time; I need to figure out a new method.

I feel bad b/c Sprout doesnt really have friends his age and he goes to a small preschool (6 kids in his class) where people dont really invite each other to birthday parties - so, his bday will be all our friends and family.  Not that he'll mind one bit, in fact he'll love not sharing the spot light, but it makes it tough to plan the party b/c it needs to be at an adult and kid friendly location.

Bowling is an awesome idea! and they will definitely survive a late lunch and nap - they'll be too excited to even notice :)

      1. 1. I'm excited to see Mrs F's belly pic in Henry's nursery.

        2. I'm at work today for the first time since the 19th. Catch-up day!

        3. Then starting tomorrow I'll be out of work until the 6th. Working 1 day in nearly 3 weeks in really nice.

        4. We're going to visit family in Oklahoma City. C's brother is deploying in a few weeks and we haven't seen her mom in awhile. It will be nice to go but this isn't a very good time to take off work for C and school for me.

        5. My mom comes down tonight to spend the night, take us to the airport in the morning and then take Kai home with her while we're away.

        6. I made tabouli today. Not sure I'm happy with the olive oil I used, but it seems okay. I offered my co-workers some. If they try it hopefully they'll like it.

        7. Today's the first day of my last quarter of grad school.

        8. I already have a paper (a reflection on my work) due Friday. At least it's only a draft due to a peer for review with the final due the following Friday.

        9. Last week I had a bunch of doula-related interviews and already booked 2 clients for the summer!

        10. Once I graduate, I'm looking forward to focusing on the house, ttc and doula work.

      2. 1. E and I just decided to go to Disney World next month. We took a couple days off ages ago but couldn't decide where to go. I feel like I total dork being so excited. E's never been and I haven't gone since I was a kid. Luckily, we're very good at being dorks together

        2. I would rather plan vacations than do any work.

        3. Went to the doctor today and got a clean bill of health--yippee!

        4. I'm trying to practice saying no more often in my volunteer/activism. Work-life balance is verrrry challenging.

        5. I'm feeling disappointed in my 2nd lunch. I need some new recipes.

        6. My mom just got back from haiti and her stories made my cry.

        7. I just looked down and realized that my shirt it partially see through. Oops.

        9. E's aunt lives in Orlando and wants us to spend most of our "romantic" vacation with her.

Ohh...WDW is one of my favorite places on earth. In fact I am a bit of a Disney geek/vacation planner. I listen to podcasts about WDW, read message boards about it, have an app on my phone that has current ride wait times.  Yea, I am obsessed. Embarrassed I can't wait to take the boys back. Let me know if you have any planning questions! :)
