rather than hijack the TTT post with b-day talk...
That was our problem for the past 3 years. They were home with our nanny and didn't really have many friends. Last year L invited a few of her co-workers with kids (that the boys didn't really know!) and we did it at our house. We got out the water table, bubble machine, balls, etc and let the kids play. Then we ate and had cake. The kids had fun.
This year we aren't inviting their class since 1) there are 18 kids in their class and 2) it doesn't seem to be the thing to do - we've gotten 1 invite all year. We are kinda reaching for kids (a few of L's co-workers kids, a couple of kids from Rainbow Families that we've only seen a few times, and 2 kids from their school who we see at Chic-fil-a kids night every week and I can get the invite to the mom without bringing it to school. We'll do a cake/party at their school.
Sprout will have fun no matter what you do!
