. . . that when I can't buy clothes I see a million things I like, but when I give myself permission to go shopping I can't find anything.
I need a dress for J's college reunion. Luckily it's in May so I have plenty of time, but two months ago I was drooling over everything I saw. Now I can't find much of anything that I like. I need a dress that subtly says, "You think you're better than me?" but in a classic, pretty way.
J went to a fancy, mini-ivy school that's kind of known for their annoying students (I'm pretty sure they were voted most annoying a few years back). So while I love and adore his friends, I'm sure I'll encounter a pretentious douche or two.
And J already said I'm not allowed to wear my college sweatshirt to the cocktail party. Come on!
Re: Why is it . . .
Same here, although... if I bring someone with me-I buy NOTHING. If I go alone, I get stuff... ugh.
And no sweatshirt to the cocktail party?!? gee, DH. wassup w dat?!
Sounds like a, um, fun time for you in May...
Depends on the dress. My hips, butt, and shoulder can make it difficult for me to judge what size I should get . . . I have clothes in about 4 different sizes.
WWVKW?
What would Vivian Kensington wear?
Ha! I thin
k I mislead you when I said fancy, more like like:
Ok, that's a bit too far (even though they actually went to the school).
