Chinese cheaters???
Has anyone been watching the Olympics coverage on the Chinese cheating on the ages of gymnasts? I knew it-my husband and I were watching the first rounds and kept talking about how the girls looked 12-then Bella Carolli expressed the same concerns.
I can't imagine that there could be that many documents out there with her birth year listed as 1994 that would be wrong-there are at least 4 or 5 different documents that show it that way. Surely that many sources can't be wrong. Something shifty is going on.
And I hope that if they find out that they cheated than those athletes should not be allowed to participate in the next Olympic games.

Okay, I haven't even read the post you made yet, but when I read the subject line, I completely missed the "ch" in cheaters and read "eaters."
I guess I'm hungry.
Alright, read the post now. I agree - those girls look waaaay too young - looks like there is some type of conspiracy imho.
I understand that people from some ethnic groups tend to look younger than others, and gymnasts usually look a little physically immature, but this has been ridiculous. Some or even most of these girls are clearly not 15 or 16. One looks about 9 - Bela or his wife even noted that she's missing some teeth, like she lost her baby teeth & hasn't grown the replacements yet. DH & I kept expecting her to pull a stuffed animal out of her backpack to hold between events! It is definitely fishy, and I doubt the IOC "investigation" is going to be terribly thorough.
