Truck birthday party ideas-need help
I am trying to decide what to do for my DS's 4th birthday party next weekend. He first said he wanted tractors, then it kind of turned into John Deere tractors, but now it is trucks. Anyway I could do a combo of those-trying to figure out how to come up with ideas? What color scheme should I go with for tableware, decorations? What should I do for his cake? Anyone have any good ideas of putting this all together for his party? Thanks!!

I'm thinking primary colors: red, yellow, blue, green.
Maybe trucker hats (caps) instead of traditional party hats for everyone.
Could you give the kids name tags that look like the names on mechanics' uniforms?
For playing, maybe you could put down a black table cloth (black fabric) with yellow lines, made to look like a road, and you put toy trucks on it.

Depending on the kind of trucks you use, can you put snacks in the trucks? (like a dump truck with a container area)? Construction type worker hats would be cute party hats. This is a longshot, but last year I was at Big Lots and found a DVD for $2-3 on farm tractors and trucks. It would make a great goody bag gift for the little boys. My DS was obsessed with it. It showed all kinds of trucks and tractors in construction and on farms. I am glad my son has forgotten about it...it was extremely painful for me to watch
I would also google truck/tractor birthday parties and see if you can find any ideas for cakes, crafts, party favors, etc....
