Ques for Mac owners!!

What program would I use to take pictures and write on them if I want? With text?  Something sort of like photoshop?  Does a Mac come with anything like that already on it?

I'm a PC person, but how elaborate are we talking here?  For example, you could insert a photo into a powerpoint slide, add a text box, group the objects, save the grouped object as a jpg, tiff, etc.  I believe Picasa also has an editing function that allows you add text to an image.

Yeah, ppt should definitely work for that.

That option is convenient if you're going to want to edit the photo in any other way (crop, reshade, etc.).

Do you happen to know if there is a way to - while you are in Picasa, making a collage and using the GRID feature - is there a way to edit the rows & columns? to adjust them to the number you want?

Eek no idea.  But you could make a collage of photos in Powerpoint with the same insert and group strategy.  Sorry, this may not be helpful.
