Just curious does anyone shop at Ross?(probably should post this in F&B but I wanted to ask you guys first)
I've never been in one and there is one right by my office. Do they have good products or is it not worth going in there? I'm looking for a dress for a May wedding but I'm trying to save money too and not pay the big department store prices.
TIA
Re: Shopping
I have bought ton's of dresses in Ross for really cheap. I will tell you that they are a bit disorganized and the lines can get really long. So my recommendation to you is to go early in the day so everything is nice and organized. I actually bought a really nice cocktail dress there for like $30.00 recently.
I think it also depends on which Ross you go to. My favorite is the one in downtown. It is right across the street from my job. The one on US 1 and about 86 Ave is also really good as well.
You could also try Marshalls or TJ Maxx.
This exactly. The downtown Ross has the best stuff! It's right across from my office and I go there during lunch sometimes (even though it's a madhouse then) but I have found AWESOME shoes there for really cheap and have also bought a few dresses there. You have to really dig to find the good stuff, though.
I live in Boca and the one that is closes to me is in Deerfield. Thankfully I don't have to deal with the crowds in Miami...lol however the parking lot is always full. Thank for the disorganized tip I'll be prepared to not get flustered with it. And as long as its clean hopefully it won't be bad.
Thanks
OMG ELI! I live at the Ross in downtown Miami!!! could you imagine, we've probably already met .. I go there for the shoes.. I've gotten some really sweet deals.
Actually my sister and I have the same pair of Carlos Santana pumps and she paid about $80 and I paid like $20!
i loveee ross and marshalls, i dont have any tjmaxx near me but i love getting a bunch of things for so cheap! the trick is to go to the clearance rack, last time i got levis jeans for 10!!
they get new things in almost every week...so start and keep going back until u find one...i think its worth saving all the money and its always fun to look around for deals at least for me
My favorite Kenneth Cole pumps are from that Ross, for only $25! Their shoes are the best. We should have a Ross lunch date, lol!!
He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.
<a href="http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk121/behapybride/?action=viewI definitely agree with PP, you can find awesome deals, but depending on the store it may be disorganized and sometimes unclean. Most of the time they are just crowded and disorganized. I find it worth it to shop there still though. My DH can't stand those stores because the disorganization and hunting drives him nuts.
I actually usually only buy the following at each place:
- Ross - amazing dresses and shoes, sometimes luggage.
- TJ MAXX - great clothing, shoes, purses, luggage.
- Marhalls/HomeGoods - stuff for the house! Decent clothing and shoes as well.
One time I actually bought a dress at Ross that was currently being sold full price in Dillards for literally 3 times the price!
Oh another tip, find out when the new shipments arrive in the store and go on that day in the morning. The store is fully stocked and organized those days!
