Has anyone had an HSG?

I went to the dr this afternoon to start my labs to see if anything is wrong with me. Background: We've been TTC for over a year so we are finally taking the plunge to see if anything's wrong with either one of us.

So I did my bloodwork today and I have to go back Monday to get this HSG. The fertility specialist told me it doesn't hurt, but I don't believe her and the only reference I have to go off of is my favorite reality couple, Giuliana and Bill Big Smile

Any thoughts/advice would be great about this xray!

Re: Has anyone had an HSG?

  • Try the nests GP board alot of girls have gotten them before. GL
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I don't have any advice but I also love Giuliana and Bill, haha. Good luck with everything!
  • DH and I are starting this process too.  I have my endo biopsy on Monday and have to call on CD1 to schedule my HSG.  My nurse said that it's not painful either, yet I still have anxiety about it.  From what I have been researching the worst part is afterwards some cramping and possibly bleeding.

Mind me asking which office you are going to?  We are using BostonIVF.  They have been awesome so far!

    GL and please report back!

Thanks! i'm using Wellesley Women's Care. I'm not totally convinced they're the best so if you like BostonIVF, let me know!

  • I have a friend who went to Wellesley Women's Care and had a good experience...Good luck!
