combo milestone b-days
So DH's & my bdays are exactly 1 week apart. He will be 30 and I will be 25. Usually, I just throw a low-key BBQ at our house for both. But DH & all he friends turn 30 this year so there's 8 of us going on a cruise together in October to commemorate this so that we didn't have to throw 6 separate BIG 30th bashes.
with that being sad, I still want to keep it semi-low key but it's a milestone for both of us, so I am looking for some good ideas.
My friends call me the theme queen cuz I am known for throwing together themed parties/events... so I am open to new theme ideas!!
Vegas, Luau and Toga are out.

Disco, or 80's theme, favorite movie costume/character theme, superhero theme. If you're into sports, you could do something with that.
My DH and I have birthdays exactly a week apart too. How ironic! We are only 2 years apart tho!
