Question from out of towner
My brother is getting married in June in Chicago. His FI sent an email to all of the BMs about getting our hair done the day of the wedding and the person coming to the site charges $100/pp. That seem astronomical to me, but I realize that the COL is a little higher in Chicago than it is in Denver. Is that over the top? Should I find somewhere near the site or will it not be much cheaper?

While that's a *bit* more than other places, it's not unheard of or outrageous. The typical up-do here is ~$75-100.
Put $10 away each week and you will have the money for it without really feeling it.

I live here in Chicago, and am headed to Denver next weekend for my sister's wedding. I think you could maybe get a little cheaper then $100 for your hair here in Chicago, but don't think the hassle would really be worth it! Is the wedding in the city or the burbs?
I mostly had to reply to agree with the feeling of hemorrahaging money for a siblings wedding! My sister's wedding needs to be over ASAP so I stop spending $50-$100 randomly all the time for every little thing! Weddings are killer!
