New Nestie.. I need advice on the QC Area
Hello all! I live in SE Iowa and I will be in the QC this weekend. I'm staying at the Isle Casino Hotel... Is it nice? And were do you recommend for good places to eat that are moderately priced? I'm looking for somthing to do other than just stay in the hotel room with DH so any advice would be appreciated!

Haven't stayed at the hotel so no advice there, but for things to do, I love the East Village. It's fun for shopping/wandering and you can find little eateries all over.
For more dining options, jump on the interstate and go north to the 53rd street exit. There you will find anything you can dream of to eat. We love Texas Roadhouse because you can get a steak dinner for $10 - can't beat that! Just be prepared to wait because it's always packed.
Ah, I wish I would have checked this earlier. Putnam IMAX. East Village is a good idea. Go across the river to the John Deere Museum. There are a few places to eat in downtown Moline (TGI Fridays for sure). 53rd street is the best bet. There is an Iowa Machine Shed right off I-80.
