Easter Weekend Church Services in Greenville

Hello all.  I'm guessing most of you who celebrate a Christian Easter weekend already have plans, but I just thought I would share that the church where DH and I belong has services all this weekend and all are welcome to attend.

We attend Grace Church at 2801 Pelham Road Greenville. It's a non-denominational, non-charismatic church.  Our services are:

Today at 5 and 7pm there are Good Friday services.

Saturday at 6pm there is an Easter service.

Sunday at 9 and 11 am there are Easter services.

There is also a downtown location which is currently meeting at The Handlebar at 304 E Stone Ave, Greenville.  They meet Sunday morning at 10.

Finally, there is a campus in Powdersville at 100A Business Parkway, Piedmont, SC 29673

They meet at 9:15 and 11am on Sunday

DH and I plan to attend tonight at 7, and Sunday at 9 on the Pelham Road campus, if anyone would like to join!

I know there are ladies of all faiths and denominations here, so if any of you would like to comment with info on your home church please do so, it may be a good reference for new Nesties to the area, especially now that the search function works!

Re: Easter Weekend Church Services in Greenville

  • We'll be going to the 11:15 service at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Simpsonville.

If you're in Charleston area, I would highly recommend St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Mt. Pleasant.  That's where we went when DH was working in Charleston during college and where BIL went while he was going to CofC.  I love love love that church.  They have their Easter service outside at Boone Hall Plantation at 9AM.  We went a few years ago and it was amazing.
