What's everyone up to?
We're hosting Easter (as I'm sure you all know by now, lol). So we'll be cleaning up the house and doing lots of cooking and baking to prepare for it! I am sooooo excited for the gorgeous forecast :-D
Re: TGIF! Weekend plans?
lol for once, I wish it weren't Friday! I've been working 10-12 hr days all week, and I still have so much left to do, I only went home when I did yesterday because I ran out of some stuff I needed for my work. If only I didn't have places to be this weekend...!
Tonight we're going to CT, stopping in Sturbridge to pick up the Easter cakes my mom ordered from the Publick House. Then the rest of the weekend will be spent with my family. I'm really glad it looks like the weather will be so gorgeous this weekend, I'm eager to break out my springy/summery dresses!
Hopefully doing something fun tomorrow. I know we'll need to rake a little in the yard too.
Sunday is Easter at my aunt's. MIL and SIL are coming to our house first then we're going there.
I am working Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday DH is running a road race, and when I get out of work I want to start working on the babys closet. We have to take down the stuff that is in there now and then paint it.
Sunday I am working then we are going into Boston for dinner and meeting my family. I can't wait I want a nice big steak and my mom made me a easter basket so I can't wait to get my peeps!
I'm hoping to get out of work in a couple hours, then I'll just go home and enjoy the awesome weather.
Tomorrow I'm hoping we do some yardwork and then we have Easter dinner with DH's immediate and extended family.
Sunday, more enjoying the weather
Anything outside! We don't have any Easter plans this year so we will be just hanging out, cleaning, and taking Buster on lots of walks!
Have a good holiday!

Enjoying the weather! Doing some baking for Easter (time for the yearly cheesecake baking extravaganza ... think I'm doing regular and brownie bars this year. I may try to add in something else too or just pick up a pre-maid dessert for the 3rd option).
I may try to go do some baby shower shopping tomorrow. I have a friend's shower on the 17th and am starting to get a sneaking suspicion that mine is next weekend so I figure I should shop while I know I have the time.
We also have general cleaning and organizing to do around the house. I may not be able to work on the nursery yet but I can work on everything else.
Tomorrow I hope to cross a bunch off of the to-do list, get some sun, and make coconut lime cupcakes for Easter
On Sunday, we'll be visiting both families for the holiday - and enjoying the cupcakes, of course!
No plans for tonight, probably just watch a movie with DH or something.
Tomorrow we'll probably run some errands earlier in the day, then head outdoors for some doubles volleyball with friends. The plan in general is to be outside as much as possible this weekend! We might see my family for dinner at night
Sunday, no plans. I need a few no plans days.
Italian restaurant tonight (just the 2 of us for a date)
Tomorrow- it will be hot, so walking the dogs then parking ourselves at the pool and tomorrow night is a cookout at a friend's new house. everyone's dogs are invited, should be...eventful! lol
Sunday- breakfast with friends at our place, then relaxing.
Yum! Do you have a recipe for those cupcakes?
Tonight - I'm at work as I type. Will be here until 11PM.
Tomorrow - In the morning DH has something planned. I don't know what it is, but I have to wear comfortable sneakers and clothes and we'll be out of the house from 9AM until 1:30PM. Then I have to work.
Sunday - The morning we're going to my parents house for breakfast and visit with them and my Grammy. This past Wednesday my grandfather was admitted to a full-time Alzheimer's facility so this will be the first holiday without him there
. Then around noon we'll be heading to DH's parents house for a light lunch before I have to leave for work. I'm so excited to break out the spring skirts too!
How did you get tickets!?!? I hope you had a blast! We couldn't even watch since we got rid of cable. The price we paid to save some money :-(
Omg, jcam, isn't that some sort of sin in New England?!?
Dh won the lottery to buy Yankees tickets and that included opening day. And we did have a blast! The crowd was out of control, we had drunk people next to us and an obnoxious yankee fan a couple of rows behind us, and a guy that was about 16 behind us that yelled "B!tch!" after they announced every yankee player, lol. It was good times..
I know, it's horrible :-( My parents have a slingbox, so I believe we are going to try to get the games through them and hook the computer up to the TV to watch them. If nothing else, we have the radio haha. Or we can crash their house, since it's only 2 minutes away :-P
I'm glad you guys had fun! That's awesome that he gets the Yankee games!
