Back to school shopping?

Ladies.. here i am in trouble. Chloe is at the stage where she has to LOOK GOOD. my wallet isnt going to look pretty either.

Where is the best place to shop for a 12 year old aheading to 7th grade?

i figure old navy, tj max, marshalls.

I know she LOVES hollister BUT thank goodness for clearance racks.

I figure buy some fall type because we know with the weather all mess up it will be hot and cold until december,

Re: Back to school shopping?

  • Hit Old Navy early on Sat (Sat only) for 7 dollar kids jeans.  They are 12 for adult sizes..You could outfit her in those jeans and pick up some tops there as well.  I remember that age, its hard.  It might be a good idea to save up for a big item she can wear daily, like a Hollister sweatshirt or Abercrombie etc instead of investing in tshits from there.  Also, you might just want to pick up a few things and then she can figure out what she really wants for clothes this year once she gets back into school.  Good luck:)

  • whoohoo old navy here icome!!

    thankss a bunchh

  • Oh gosh Stephi, I don't envy you - I seriously don't get the "holister" thing....did I even spell it right? God, I'm getting old...
  • haha heck i dont even know if I spelled it right!

i have to be honest with you, in concord it was so easy everyone was so down to earth...

once we moved to salem its O.M.G LIKE LOOK AT THAT GIRL SHES NOT WEARING OUR BRAND LIKE KICK HER OUT.

    what the f*ck?

  • I know what you mean! Once I hit middle school, if you were found shopping at Kmart or Ames (we didn't have Walmart till I was in HS) you were not cool.

My brother is kind of in that boat too. He's a senior this year, and he wants to just fit in. So he got an Abercrombie shirt. Ugh, I'm so against them and Hollister because they are the same company and have many lawsuits against them for racism. I like to joke that I'm not white enough to go in there. (I'm the palest person I know!)

Maybe Aeropostale or Pac Sun, American Eagle's prices have gone up, I used to buy a lot of my clothes there, but they have awesome sales racks sometimes. But just a couple things here and there, and she should be good. I buy the majority of my clothes at Old Navy, since I spill stuff on myself all the time and ruin things.
