i love fridays soo much....i dont think its a good sign about my happiness level at work but it has really made appreciate my life outside of my work....
does anyone feel stuck in their job? i used to work in fiu, it was my first job and 2 yrs after i started there was a position w.benefits (aka free school) so i took it, however it was a secretary position i finished my bachelors and my job paid for the first semester of my masters....i left fiu (bcuz my program was closing in Summer 2010 so i to a sec. position elsewhere because that's the only position they called me for and it was big mistake..anyways i feel like im stuck in a sr. sec position just because that what most of my experience is in....anybody else feels stuck?
Re: woohoooo its friday!!
I second your Woo Hoo for Friday. This week went by pretty quick but today is dragging for me. My office is a ghost town. Worst part is that we are not closing early, it's regular hours for us. But I am going to try and sneak out an hour earlier. Wish me luck.
As far as my job I wouldn't say I feel stuck. My official title is administration assistant but I wear ton's of different hats. Even though sometimes I go crazy with all the responsibilities, I do enjoy that I get to do a variety of things with many different departments. But since this is a small company I do know that I can only be promoted until a certain point. But for now I'm happy and the pay isn't bad so I will keep on doing it.
I hope you find the right place for you someday.
By the way did you ever go see Kings Creek? I think you mentioned you would be moving in this weekend if all went well.
did not go well at all, im very allergic and the appt was carpeted and very small, we are used to looking for houses and my impatience to leave our efficiency made look to rent an appt. but after seeing what's out there i rather be patient and look for a house even if it takes a year or more
i just got a list of houses from our realtor and the association fee for most of them is $498! crazyyy
I'm sorry to hear you didn't like it. But definetly wait until you find the right place for you, even if it takes a year.
If you could possibly find a place that doesn't have association then go for it. We have an assoc in our building and it is the biggest pain. You have to run every little thing by them plus every year they increase the fee.
Good luck with your house hunt.
