I read this article on CNN about the USS Farragut, after reading the article about the USS Nicholas yesterday.
(I have to agree - the CNN photo for the USS Farragut definitely looks photoshopped. Sad. Also, if you're bored, the comments are really quite comical.)
Here's where I have a problem: "Coalition forces released the suspected pirates after making sure they couldn?t attack again."
At least the "suspected pirates" captured by the USS Nicholas are being held and may be sent to piracy court. (That's a funny concept isn't it? Piracy court?!)
Now... unless they "released the suspected pirates" into the water skiff-less, all they're going to do is find another boat and more guns and return to the seas more pissed off than before!
What do you think about piracy and treatment of piracy suspects?
