BS and ACV shampoo users

I want to try this but I am confused.  How to you put it in your hair?  Do you put it in a spray bottle and spray it all on?  Do you mix it and pour if over your head?  Do you have to scrub it in?  Please explain your process .

BS- pre-mixed in glass container, and poured all over scalp. Massage thoroughly.

ACV- poured over ends of hair, although I imagine a sprayer would work too. Rinsed.

I pour both over my head.  Baking soda gets massaged in to my scalp (feels niiiiiiiiiiice).  I tried the ACV in a sprayer, but it took so long to get all of my hair that it was just easier to dump the cup!

So you guys mix the BS and water before you get in the shower and then bring the glass in the shower with you?

I have a couple of plastic hair dye applying bottles that I use for mixing.  I'm too clumsy for glass in the shower.  The bottles are big enough to mix 2-3 showers worth at a time.  But before I had those, I mixed it up and then brought it in.

OK... last question (that's not a promise though haha).

 Do you do 2 tablespoons of baking powder and 1 cup of water?  My hair is chin length, if that matters.

I do 1 tbls bs to 1 cup water. I pre-mix it in a glass jar that holds about two cups water so I double that recipe and it will last me a week or two.

I use a HEALTHY tablespoon in a cup of water.  If I actually measured, it would probably be 1.5 tbsp in a cup.

i haven't tried this yet, but i believe the apple cider vinegar is used as a conditioner.   the baking soda/water mixture is used as shampoo.
