Hi Ladies.  My mom is on the board of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Central Texas Affiliate.  They are trying to put together a cookbook for a fundraiser and are in need of recipes. 

I know many of you are EXCELLENT cooks.  If you are feeling generous and want to contribute to the cookbook please email a recipe or two to komencookbook at yahoo.

Be sure to note in the email how you want your name as a contributor to appear.  If you, or someone that you share this with, are a breast cancer survivor please note that in the email too.   

I designed the book cover and will share it as soon as the art is finalized.

What kind of recipes would they like? Do they have to be original?

Ah, great questions!  Send a recipe you have prepared before and liked.  It doesn't need to be your original. 

The categories in the book are:

• Appetizers & Beverages
• Soups & Salads
• Vegetables & Side Dishes
• Main Dishes
• Breads
• Cookies & Candy
• Dessert
• This & That

At this point they want all categories.

Just donated my Texas Trash dip/salsa recipe. I've never seen it published or online anywhere, and it was given to me verbally by a friend's mom, so hopefully it's not stolen.
