Sims Cards for AT&T

Does anyone know how much they cost? I purchased a BB curve for my son off of Craigslist and yes I know the sims card in his samsung can be transferred but I want him to keep that card and phone active until I can make sure this BB is going to work more than a week and he needs to be active since he is a college student. The website was not helpful, they suggested asking a store...it's easter- they aren't open.

So if you know...pls share...Thankssss

Re: Sims Cards for AT&T

  • Can't he just take the card out of his samsung and put it into his bb.  Or does it take a different type of card?  If it takes the same card you could just switch it back and forth.
  • Yeah, as long as he has the newest generation SIM card there's no reason he can't switch back and forth.  Sometimes, if it is an older SIM card it won't work with newer technology, but you'll find out the second you try to switch.

  • I was told Sim cards cost 15-20 dollars but I agree with PP, you can switch back and forth
  • I would switch the cards. If you get a new card, you have to get a new phone number, right?
  • If you go to a corportate att store they are free authorized retailers are $25 but if you switch it over it will work fine that way you can test it
