McNabb to Redskins?
What?!
Why would the Eagles trade within the division?
I'm really glad they didn't send that POS to the Vikings though. People around here were talking like that would be awesome... Uh no thanks we don't need another injury problem here.

I'm glad he landed there and not in Oakland. The Redskins came totally out of left field, but H is SUPER thrilled [he comes from a line of redskins fans]. Sounds like it worked out for both sides.
My dad's irritated though...he's an Eagles fan [i am, too], and we're both irritated that they traded McNabb. It was time for him to go, though.
While I agree that he might not be the right guy for the job anymore, the trade was bogus. The Eagles have no one left. Are they really going to put all their hopes on Kevin Kolb?!

Agreed. Didn't he only start like, two games last year?! Not too thrilled that they're relying on Kolb. I don't even know much about him...guess it's time to look up some stats before season starts...
Kolb only started two games last season, but he did set a record by being the only QB in NFL history to pass for over 300 yards in his first two starts. Isn't he pretty young, too? You have to start over at some point, and I don't think Kolb is bad at all... He seems to have the skills, he just needs some playing time.
I was watching Sports Center this morning, and I didn't realize McNabb held so many Eagles all time records... Yet people in Philly hate him so much. I don't get it. SC also showed when the Eagles fans boo-ed him at the draft. How sad. They really wanted Ricky Williams over McNabb? Umm yeah there's a reason those folks aren't in NFL management/ownership...
I don't hate McNabb...the only person I truly LOATHE is Andy Reid.
The Eagles have a wonderful history of trading away players for nothing, so I'm really interested in seeing who they're going to get with all these draft picks. Honestly, I'm really not a huge Kolb fan, but we only have Vick as a backup right now. Thank God it's baseball season!
