EF options for siding on a house
We are in the market to get our roof and house done. We were going to go with vinyl siding, but then I got to thinking about the environment. What is the most EF material to use?
TIA!

Re: EF options for siding on a house
I would look into Hardy Plank Siding. It's cement fiberboard. It comes pre painted, it's fire resistant, doesn't rot like wood, is termite resistant, and comes with a 50 year warranty.

This is great stuff. My dad builds custom homes and this is always his first recommendation for all those reasons, plus it looks gorgeous. There is a Hardy vs Vinyl comparison somewhere on the website, fyi.
