Moms - where did you shop for baby furniture?
I'm going to have to break down and buy
furniture for this baby . . . the crib I was going to borrow from my
sister is not in good shape (any advice on how to gently tell her I
don't want it?) and DH is vehemently against using Craigslist. Where
did you look for good selection and quality, price, and availability (I
don't want to wait 8 weeks for something to come in).
Is it
worth it to get a convertible crib? We would eventually have to buy
this kid a regular bed anyway. Then again, it's not certain that this
is our last baby and to have to buy *another* crib in 3-4 years would
really chap my ass.
Thanks!
Re: Moms - where did you shop for baby furniture?
Oh I hear ya...
Well, I guess what you'd have to do, since your husband refuses to use his old bed, is price out what it would cost to buy a regular crib and regular bed separately and figure out if it would just cost less that way or to buy the convertible (since you can just skip the toddler bed and mattress when converting the bed) and possibly buy another convertible later, again if you plan on having more children....I really don't know what the cost differential would be....
