N/NE PDX vet recs?

I know most of you ladies live out in Beaverton area but does anyone have a vet rec for NoPo or NE?  We are getting a dog (2 year old Golden Retriever) sometime next week and are looking for recs.  We have looked at some reviews on Yelp as well.

We highly recommend Dogwood Pet Hospital in Gresham. Normal prices and wonderful, wonderful people.

Agreed 10000% I cannot give a big enough recommendation for N Portland Vet Hospital.

I have been using them for 4+ years. I have taken 2 dogs and a cat here. Unfortunatly I had to go through some major sickness and eventually put a dog and the cat down. The entire staff is very caring, great with giving lots of options for treatments, and very well trained. Good luck!

 For those of you that use N. Portland Vet, do you mind telling me approx how much a wellness visit runs??  I looked on Yelp at the reviews and it was great and it's literally 5 minutes from our house but a lot of the reviews listed it as pricey.  

I want an excellent vet but not one that is going to be leaps and bounds more than all the others either.

Somehow I don't recall the exact prices. Call them, they ar esuper helpful and can give you prices. I am not wealthy by any means and I have never been suprised by the price. That's actually one of the things I love about them. They give prices up front, so no suprises.
