Review of Charlie's Soap (laundry detergent)

I picked up a bag of Charlie's Soap powder the other day. It cleans 80 loads and was $10 and change. It has no scent at all. I have very sensitive skin and haven't had any issues yet. It cleans as well as BioKleen (the detergent I was previously using) but costs less. We have three dogs and it cleans their beds well. It gets out all of the doggie smells :-)

I still want to try some other brands to compare - but, I would say Charlie's Soap is a great option and less expensive than some of the other ones out there.

Re: Review of Charlie's Soap (laundry detergent)

  • Glad you like it!  Around my area, it's even a little less expensive--I think I normally pay $9 a bag, but then again, it's a "local" company to me.
  • Charlies soap is awesome. After using it for awhile, your clothes become so soft that if you feel clothing washed in regualr detergent it seems stiff and sticky.
  • I'm about 3/4 of the way through my first small bag of it. I love it!! DD1 has sensitive skin and she hasn't had any issues w/ eczema or anything else since we started using it.

It also gets all the stains out of her clothes, which is great! And I feel like our clothes are much softer and brighter since I started using it. So happy with it that I'm done w/ my search and am sticking w/ Charlie's Soap :)

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • We use it for our cloth diapers and will start using it for everything once we use up the rest of our laundry detergent.  It works great!
