No anti-perspirant=sweating
I have switched from my toxic deo/antipers to the Crystal deo, which I see has gotten some bad reviews recently. Anyways, since switching I of course noticed that at times I get sweaty pits when it is not so great, ie. in meetings. On the avg day I think I will be ok with this but when in meetings this can really be annoying & embarrassing. What do you do about this? Any good suggestions?
Re: No anti-perspirant=sweating
Have you tried different ones? Although without using an antiperspirant, nothing should really be stopping you from perspiring, but I feel like different products worked differently for me. I'm not usually a really sweaty person, but I tried a jason product that was reviewed well online, and it made me SO sweaty and stinky!!
I really like the Gudonya Too Stinky No More deoderant on etsy.
Also I can't help but think if you are sweating in a meeting, its nerves! Do you drink caffeine?
This...I miss the dry feeling. It's 86 here today and my homemade coconut oil deo isn't cutting it.
I had the same problem and ultimately gave up on the EF stuff. Pit stains at work was not cool for me.
Based on other posters, it seems like trying different brands might help. Maybe I'll give it a go again.
I use the Kiss my face liquid rock, and it's "ok" (I know, it has alum in it..).
I will say it's much better than other natural deodorants, especially the sticks that glide on.
I didn't - "couldn't" - start using natural deodorants until I was a SAHM. I would sweat at work and then my blouses had dark sweat marks on them, and the natural deodorants were not effective. I think too it took a while for my body to adjust and respond to the more natural deodorants.

I also have the same problem. I use the Crystal normally, and have Dove as a backup for important days, like meetings or interviews. I've tried so.many.different.brands and they all have the same problem. Jason's, Crystal, Tom's, Alba, Arm & Hammer natural line, KMF, and others I can't think of. And I'm not a stinky person either! They just don't work 100% like regular deoderant does. Damn aluminum!
Try using come corn starch... it should help.
I keep two bottles. One regular bottle for hot days and shirts that would show wetness, the other bottle for days when wetness won't show or matter. At least I'm cutting it down, I guess. Cornstarch does help, but my pits sweat profusely at the drop of a hat, so it's not pretty if I use the aluminum-free stuff on a hot day. If you really want to go aluminum free, maybe you could try out some dress shields.
