Game 1 of NHL playofffs!

DH got us tickets to game 1 of the NHL playoffs in Buffalo... very exciting!

Anyone else all pumped for the playoffs?

No, because the Flames are not going to make the playoffs and as season ticket holders we have to pay for playoffs as if they make it all the way to the end. I am a bit bitter, LOL! They do credit that to next seasons tickets but still, rubbing salt in the womb.

We have our last game tonight, I asked DH if we could leave early so I can get home and watch the Biggest Loser, that didn't go over well.

ME! Coyotes are finally in it. We got tickets for the first two games. I am sooo excited and cant wait!!!

We officially got eliminated Tuesday night. We had free seats on the glass and got a nice dinner from a consultant DH works with so it wasn't too terrible, and really we had no doubt that we weren't going to make it. BUT, just in case DH had put down a deposit for seats on Row B next to our team's bench. Oh well, here's to another year of sucking. Maybe next year.

That is crazy!! We don't have to do that as STH, but then again we are one of the worst franchises in the NHL. And the Flames used to be in Atlanta, did you know that? Lucky them they got out of our hockey abyss.

They do that in Nashville too.  Last year it was sad to get the money credited to our accounts, that wasn't what we wanted that money to be used for.  And, much like the flames, we missed out on the playoffs last season by a few points.  

Hopefully next season goes better for you.  I am curious to see what happens in Calgary during the off season.  I am anticipating some shakeups... and for the Rangers too.

Iggy said last night in an interview that is the city & team wanted him to wave his no trade clause then he would go. I do hope they get rid of him, over paid and under performing just like Dion was...so glad that tool is gone to TO! LOL!
