Sodus Point area
Hi ladies!
My husband and I are looking to rent a vacation home in Sodus, NY. Can I get some reviews on this area? We have a toddler so I'm hoping to find an area that is kid friendly. Any reviews or recommendations are appreciated! Thank you!

The upstate NY nestie board might have better advice - but I can definitely help out too!
My ILs actually live on Sodus Bay. I'm not sure about renting vacation homes there - but maybe searching online would help you find some resources or sites. I would definitely recommend finding a place actually on the water (on sodus bay or the lake). Sodus Point itself has a nice small beach, a long pier with the lighthouse and a playground and picnic area. There are also a good handful of restaurants (including Hots Point for yummy ice cream) right close to the Point. As far as other kid-friendly aspects, I'm not really sure. But it would definitely provide a nice laid back relaxing lake vacation. good luck!

The house that I found is on the lake and seems to be a good area. I just hate to commit to something for a couple months without getting any reviews on it! Thanks again for your input! I appreciate it
