Burger King Commercial

Has anyone else seen that new Burger King commercial where that creepy King breaks into McDonald's headquarters and steals the Egg McMuffin recipe?  

First, you had to get the recipe for that?  It wasn't self-explanitory?

Second, can they DO that?!

Third, did they have to point out that they stole it?  Couldn't they have just promoted their new breakfast sandwich and called it a day?

Ugh, stuff like that makes me not want to go there ever.  I basically don't go to Hardees or BK now because of their ridiculous commercials.  Shouldn't their ads make me WANT to go there?  Ok, thanks for listening!

I'm not even lying- as I was reading your post that commercial was ON!! It was the first time I had seen it and I missed the first part cause I was reading ur post...looks crazy though!! 

 I actually think the BK guy is sexy tho

You would think, but my McMuffins never taste the same....  

In any case, I know what you mean about advertising.  I HATE OLD NAVY COMMERCIALS.  All of them.  For the past ... five years or so.  They make me not want to shop at Old Navy. 

Likewise, there was an Old Country Buffet commercial about ten years go with this smart ass kid ranting about how he wants to eat what he wants to eat and not get stuck with something off the menu.  (Or something like that.)  Frankly, I just wanted to smack the kid.  Didn't do much to sell Old Country Buffet.

I haven't seen the comercial yet but all their comercials are kinda creepy. 

I  don't think I've seen a Hardees comercial in years.  Seems strange now that I think about it.

I can't stand the old navy comercials either. 

There's this one radio comercial for a place here called the Bonefish Grill that drives me nuts.  And of course they play it a million times a day.  It's a bunch of people talking about these stupid things they did and an announcer telling them why it's a reason to celebrate and that they should celebrate at the Bonefish Grill. 

Some other girl at work was wearing the same skirt as me.

I feel that way about an electronics company here in town. All there ads basically about having electronics is better then having a woman/being married and some of them have been jaw droppingly offensive. They only come on the radio and the new ones now have the men trainng their children to ask for electronics and go tell mommy you want a flat screen etc. They are just awful. No matter how good their flyers look I never even consider them when looking for something.
