30 day shred

I think some of you girls have done this DVD.  I've been trying to do Level 1 every day- finally feel like I can handle Level 1 at least.  My question is, how often did you do it?  I know that you aren't supposed to do strength training every day, so I'm not sure if I should be doing this every day, or alternating, or something like that...

Re: 30 day shred

  • I did do it everyday for about 10 days, then every other day, then further and further apart.

But, (I may be wrong) I think it's fine to do everyday, since it's not strictly hardcore strength training (as much as it feels like it, lol!) and combines some good cardio as well.

If I'm wrong, someone let me know! I really am under the impression it's fine everyday of 30 days. After that,  I don't know.

  • You're supposed to do it 30 days straight.  And you can lift everyday depending on what you actually want to do and why you are lifting, you just have light days and heavy days but that's more for athletes.  You're not actually doing a lot of the lifting in it that causes you to do every other day.  Your strength training and toning.  Toning is done daily.

Ok, thanks!  I'd rather do it every day since it's only 20 minutes.   I was wondering if it was ok because you're not really trying to build muscle.
  • The first time, I did it every day and then I fell off the wagon.  The next time I doubled up and did two levels back to back three times a week.  It's pretty intense and I like having it on hand if I feel like doing it.
