Dinner recommendations?

We are coming up to Boston for two nights in May and are looking for a nice restaurant to go to.  We are staying at the Ritz-Carlton in Boston Commons but are willing to go anywhere in the city!

Thanks so much!

Re: Dinner recommendations?

  • So many options.  My favorites right now are No. 9 Park and Salts (the latter is in Cambridge, the former you could walk to from the Ritz).  Mistral is also good.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Radius is pretty close to the Ritz.  I've only been once but I really liked the food and atmosphere.  Another favorite of DH and I is Mistral.  The bar at the Ritz (Jer-Ne) is a nice place for a drink or a casual dinner.

  • Right on the Common, I really like Bistro du Midi and the Bristol Lounge (at the Four Seasons). If you want to head down Newbury St, I would recommend Sonsie or if you want to go to Beacon Hill, the Beacon Hill Bistro and Toscano are really good.

  • You guys are so cultured!  I haven't been to any of these restaurants!  I definitely want to try them soon :)
  • If you're willing to go anywhere, make sure you get to the North End at some point. It's our little Italy. My favorite is L'Osteria, but you really can't go wrong with most of the restaurants there.

    ditto!

One of my faves there is Trattoria il Panino

  • Thanks ladies!  My mom grew up in Boston, and I spent a summer there-but DH has only gone up there once for a conference.  We are super excited to go-after living outside NYC and Baltimore/DC, I'm excited to make it back up there for the weekend!

    Thanks again!
