Is there a way to add songs to a playlist en masse? I usually drag them one at a time, but it's so time consuming...surely there has to be a way to add multiple at once. Anyone?
Re: iTunes and playlists
If the songs are all in a row, click on the one at the top and hold down the shift button, then click the last one. Then drag like you would have done with one song, but since they're all selected, it will add them all.
If they're not all in a row, instead of using shift, hold down control (on a PC, or the command/apple button on a mac) and click on each song you want to add while you're still holding down the control button. Then drag the same way.
In lieu of dragging you can also go to the file menu and select "create playlist from selection" and it will create a new playlist with all the songs currently selected prompting for you to name the playlist. I often delete a playlist and create a new one to avoid dragging and dropping - I would always accidently drop a song into the wrong playlist.
