Deer-resistant Hedge Suggestions?
We need some new landscaping in the front of our house along the road and would like to put a hedge in. It needs to be deer-resistant for here in deer land.
Our HD has 1-gallon shrubs on sale for 4 - $10 this weekend and they have juniper blue star (does not seem good for a hedge), thuja emerald green (seems ok for hedge/ barrier to the road and deer resist), yews (finding conflicting info. online about deer resistancy).
They also have 5-gallon Emerald Green Abrovitaes for $25 which are apparently good for hedges but I am reading the deer do like them.
Boxwoods are recommended but they are not evergreens, correct? We would prefer evergreens.

Haha, of course the only one I didn't google before asking, thanks.
Any experience putting them in? I am reading now that they are slow-growing...so our "hedge" might look stupid for a few years until it gets going... regardless I guess it's better than what we have.
They were part of the landscape when we moved into our townhouse but I pulled them out as I wanted to put other flowers in instead. We've been at our TH for three years and most of them are about a foot tall or so.
