Soap w/out animal ingredients

I'm looking for bar soap that does not contain animal ingredients...specifically sodium tallowate. I was at Walmart last night and every soap I picked up had sodium tallowate in it! I'm looking for an affordable brand and something that can easily be bought instead of having to go to a special store.

The Walmart by me carries Burt's Bees (it's in the beauty/ makeup section, not in the soap section), that doesn't have any animal products in it. But the company was recently bought and I don't know what their current practices are. I like Kiss my Face (usually a big bar is $3) or any Castille based soap, I find these a lot, but i live in a hippy area.

Dr. Bronners is at many grocery stores in my area.

Dr. Bronner's has no animal ingredients, no animal testing (has the leaping bunny logo), is certified organic, and is fair trade.  You can't go wrong!  I have a big bottle of the liquid for refilling my hand pumps and the bar in the shower.  I get both from my regular corner grocery store.

Whole Foods has a less expensive version of Dr Bronners that I like. Side note: I met a Dr Bronners salesperson once and it really soured me on the whole Dr Bronners thing. He was REALLY annoying.

Trader Joe's carries a Tea Tree Soap (Trader Joe's Brand) that is nice.  They also have another scent, but I cannot remember what it is.  It is a package of 2 bars for 1.69.  Not a bad price, and it is made without animal ingredients or synthetic frag.

My fave is Kiss My Face olive oil soap.  Three very natural ingredients.
