I'm so sick of house hunting
We haven't been at it for very long but I just dont get why it's so hard. We are putting in another offer on a place tonight.... Please send us some kind of dust that makes us get this house.
Otherwise I want to take our downpayment and go buy a new car and a wardrobe. (Kidding.... but so tempting)

This one is actually a regular sale, no foreclosure no short sale. I couldn't believe it.

Fingers crossed for you guys then for sure! There were zero regular sales in the neighborhood we were looking at (there was one priced about $80k over fair market value that was FSBO). We're still waiting for the bank to rubber stamp to re-approve the short sale price on the property - been waiting since 3/25.

Good luck! We got a contract relatively quickly but the escrow process has been a little bit of a nightmare. I was tempted to walk away and go on a trip to Europe several times.
Apparently they do. This came on the market at 4 yesterday and we saw it at 7. However it is priced WAY high. About $80k over as well. But the owners know that and arent set on that price (not sure why they are asking it but owell)

I am sick and tired of getting out bidded and spending my weekends looking for potential places. How the HECK are people able to put down >50% cash only deposits!?? I am beyond frustrated also.

Hang in there! We were looking for 6-8 months with NO offers. We just didn't like anything. Finally we saw a house and put our first offer in and accepted!
It sucks and we jumped "out" many times taking a few weeks break. You'll know when you see the house and be glad you didn't get another house!
