I love Childrens Place!

Most of Evan's clothes are from there and I just went there today and bought a TON there with his birthday money since he has absolutely NO fall clothes in his size. I got him a winter hat (too cute to pass up)....7 shirts.....3 sweatshirts......1 sweater.....4 pairs of pants.........and a sherpa lined sweatshirt to act like a fall jacket....all for $190. Do you think that is good? Or do you think I spent too much for all that? I just love the quality of their clothes and the cheaper prices. I am not digging Old Navy's selection for the fall season at all! I actually didn't find one thing I liked there! I LOVE Gap but they are way too expensive. Gymboree is ok too but pricey.

What stores do you like to shop at for you kids?

Re: I love Childrens Place!

  • Carter's outlet in Kittery. I occasionally go to babyGap but they're so expensive! I love CP's jammies though.
  • I will shop just about anywhere, but I'm a snot when it comes to quality.  Screw me once, I won't go back.

I've been consistently happy with the quality of the Carter's pieces I've bought. You can tell the difference with the feel of the cotton on carter's versus, say, the BRU brand.

I also LOVE Alex's overalls from BabyGap. The ones I have for him (I went back and bought different sizes when I realized how great they were) are lined with a gray t-shirty, soft material, so they are cozy and warm. They've worn spectacularly.

I've also been consistently happy with the Gymboree quality, but I'm picky about which lines I buy- I don't always like their styles. Their bathing suits, though, are the only ones Alex has ever had.

The few things I've picked up from the Disney store have also been pretty decent, but I tend to think they are overpriced.

Trying to think...There was a line of clothing, First Moments or something, that came from Macy's. I got several items at our shower with Alex and all of them were very good quality.

OH, I order his Sean John stuff online and their quality is fantastic, too. But it's ridiculously priced, I'm just a ho for my mini puff daddy. :(

  • I love their clothes as well! I buy ALL the boys clothing there. I am going tomorrow actually to get Drake's fall/school clothing cause I have a coupon that's 15% off till Sept 2nd, so I needed to get there soon! But I don't like Gymboree or old navy clothing for them either, expensive at Gymboree and just odd styles at ON. Gap has nice cute  things but expensive. I just got a GC for Jackson for there so I'll have to see what I can get on the sale rack!
  • I shop alot at Target for Briannas clothes.  I haven't had a problem with their quality but two onesies that I bought last year ripped where it snaps together in the crotch.  I like Old Navy, BRU's and Gymbore clothes! = )
  • I also love Carter's, I usually buy at the outlet or TJ Maxx, I also love Target for picking up a piece here or there.  For some extra day care clothes, I even bought some of the Garanimals at Walmart, I couldn't stand for any of  his cute shorts to just be sitting in a bag in his cubby, waiting to be worn!

I only do TCP when it is on a serious sale.

  • Not a bad deal about $10/piece...I usually shop at Carter's(love this place though I feel like you buy a few items, then you've basically bought the whole line, b/c do a lot of themes and they only change with the season) I get their coupons which usually are 20% off $50+ or $10 off...I just love their onesies and they seem to fit Jack really well(long and lean boy that he is) and the quality is good.

I also love BabyGap(usually sales) b/c the stuff is just too darn cute!

I also shop at OldNavy, CP and Gymboree all of which usually have KICKA$$ sales too :-)

I am having fun now though buying fall stuff for Jack and since it's not clearanced out really yet, it's not as cheap as summer stuff, but man I LOVE cool weather clothes!
