Anyone here done cord blood banking?

We will be doing it this time around although we missed our opp. to do it with Alex. I was curious as to what anyone else's experiences were. We're going to be going through Viacord.

We did it through Cord Blood Registry and had a flawless experience.  I'm not sure what info you're looking for... It's important to be sure that your nurses know that you're doing it.  We had to do a blood draw before Anna was born. Also, be sure that DH knows the process- I was the one who "knew" what was going on, but I was so doped up that it didn't matter! Luckily, DH had been listening when I mentioned that the instructions were in my bag.  He called the company, they sent a currier (I remember him being funny), and we received an email and phone call within a week.  Let me know if you have other questions!

Thanks for the heads up. Viacord is (i guess) the only one that is approved to do with a c section?   I will def. let my OB know on Tuesday that we will be doing it and DH has a heads up with all the info we need at the hospital.
