When I went "home" for Easter, my mom gave me a big bag of fabric that was for my great great aunts before they passed on. I haven't decided what to do with it all yet, it's really stuff that's not my style so I will probably use it as practice, make some pillowcase dresses or something for Elise to play in.
Re: joeysgirl
Ooo how fun!
Practice fabric is awesome...I buy cheap ol' muslin for patterns I'm scared of. (like 99 cents/yard) but since you have freebies, that's pretty awesome!
You could totally make a bunch of yo-yo's if the patterns aren't your style too. You'd probably barely see them and make a cute set of pillows like this (maybe for Elise)?
