Fav: friendly people, lack of traffic, beautiful summers, so much to do/see outdoors, yummy restaurants.
Least Fav: dark/cold winters, expensive to leave/travel, and the generalizations that people make about the state.
Favorite things : I really love the summers. The fresh air, I feel like I can breath up here its amazing. The fact that all of the tv shows that come on at 10 am est come on at 6pm, I can go to bed a decent time lol. Having a white Christmas, the lack of humidity.
Least Favorite things : Being so isolated from the rest of the world. Having to drive 40 miles into Anchorage to go to a mall, or a decent movie theatre. Expensive travel, 5 hours of daylight in winters. THE FREAKING MOSQUITOS!
What's your favorite thing about living in Alaska? the mountains, the out doors, being able to get away from the city really easy, being able to bike most places in the summer
What's your least favorite thing about living in Alaska? not many place to go out side the city, travel is $$$, being 3 hours different from my family
Favorite.....the beauty, the shock when you tell someone that you are from AK, camping, fishing....
Least Favorite....companies charging more for shipping because we are "overseas", not having a Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and the other wanted restaurants that will not come up here for one reason or another. Expensive plane tickets.
