What a way to start the day...

Driving through FH this morning and this stupid mini van with MI plates almost side swipes me and then proceeds to cut me off.  I had to swerve into the bike lane to avoid them!  And the whole time this fat old man in the passenger seat was glaring at me, like I was the bad driver. 

How much longer til these ppl go back to their home states?!

LOL some of them are seriously terrible drivers.  It shouldn't be too much longer though, I think most go back by mid-May!  But that means my hospital goes empty and I get cancelled from work more often, which totally sucks since I'm trying to save up my PTO.

LoL.. yeah that sucks... But since living here, I've seen more younger kids on the road driving like idiots then snowbirds.

And just think, with out them- AZ would be in more financial trouble then it is in right now so from that standpoint, Im ok with them being here..

See told you all, it's the not AZ drivers. But yeah they are bad. They should be leaving soon. And yes, the teens are pissing me off. Almost got hit twice by one.

Its not necessarily east-coasters (I'm from CT), snowbirds are (typically) old ppl from up north/east that vacay in AZ during the winter to avoid the snow.  And they go back home when AZ turns up the heat.

So the other day I was on my way home from work and on the 303 it goes from 2 lanes to 1 lane and it gives the right lane plenty of warning to yeild into the left lane.  But do you think this snowbird read the sign... that would be a big fat NO! so he ends up just pushing his way into my lane and then i end up have to drive in the dirt until someone let me back onto the paved road! i say GRRR to that snow bird.  my car is still new to me and i don't like her getting hurt! lol

He probably saw you but had an old man attitude like "you arent getting in front of me, missy..."  LoL.... yea, they get like that...

I am sooooo with you on this one! Why do they insist on driving during commute hours??? Some of us have to work and dont have time to be stuck behind some old lady in a massive Buick going 20 below the speed limit! Grrr...this is a sore spot for me since I DID get in a pretty bad accident a few years ago because a snowbird in a minivan from Canada made a blind left turn in front of me against a red arrow and I hit him at 50 mph...thank God for seatbelts...

To be fair, lately for me, it's been unbiased horrible drivers.  People lately just seem to be in SUCH a hurry (to beat me to a red light), or to get to the stall on the freeway before me, that they don't let me over, merge etc.

This has been everyone young, old, AZ, non AZ....
