Hi ladies! DH and I are thinking of taking a quick 3-night babymoon trip to San Diego in May or June. We want to hang out on the beach, possibly visit the zoo/sea world and just have a really relaxing trip.
Any suggestions on where to stay, what beach to go to, where to eat, what to do? TIA!
Re: San Diego Babymoon
May and June are the worst months here for the beach. They call it May gray/June gloom for the reason. We lived on the coast last summer and didn't see the sun til late July. It was cloudy, cold and definitely not beach weather for those two months.
If you still want to come, I suggest staying more inland, where you'll actually see the sun. At the beaches, the sun usually comes out after 2, but it gets foggy again as the sun sets. Honestly, I'd hold off until at least July!
