What's everyone up to this weekend?
I'm so sad that it's gross out again, but it looks like tomorrow will be sunny, woohoo! Nothing planned tonight. Tomorrow we're going to Fire and Ice for lunch with the Ts. Sunday we're doing yardwork.
It's our last weekend without plans weeks in advance until LATE JUNE. So I am going to relax and enjoy it as much as possible!
Re: TGIF!
I hope that you're right about the nice weather tomorrow! TGIF for sure!! It's been a long week. Happy Friday, everyone!
Tonight: Out with friends.
Tomorrow: Belated dating anniversary celebrating with DH.
Sunday: Hopefully crossing off the majority of my to-do list (high hopes, but I feel motivated). Yikes! This weather is so depressing- I'm ready for the shorts weather to come back! At least it will be sunny tomorrow, even if it's not quite shorts weather!
I have to write an NIH grant for school this weekend so I'm not doing much of anything. I'm trying to get some of it done today so we can do something fun tomorrow but I've been doing some serious procrastinating so I don't know about that! haha

Rain, rain go away......
Tonight: Working. DH is on the cape for a weekend of Army training. He won't be home until Sunday.
Tomorrow: Going to North Reading to hand over the security deposit and 1st month's rent for our new apartment!! 2 bedrooms with a new, never been used kitchen!! And it's only a 30 minute ride to work, and no more tolls! We start moving in anytime after April 15.
Then I'm working that night.
Sunday: Not too much planned. I might hang out with my S's-I-L before I have to go to work.
this was a long week - TGIF is right!
I luckily only worked half a day today. T and I got some lunch, went birthday shopping for me (yay) and ended up getting me a bike! Just recently I have been wanting one and we found a great one at a local bike shop. Tonight we're going to the brewery in Lowell for dinner.
Tomorrow we're going to Fire and Ice with the jCams for lunch!
We don't have plans the rest of the weekend, hopefully we'll get some yardwork done on Sunday - I think it's supposed to be nice.
I'm heading home earlier than planned. Originally I was going to work late tonight to get stuff done, come in tomorrow to finish it, then go to a fundraiser concert at a bar tomorrow night, and pilates on Sunday.
Now since everything I've done today has failed, I'll do a little shopping on my way home tonight, relax and do a little cleaning/yardwork tomorrow, go to the fundraiser, and come to work on Sunday, when I'll hopefully be able to fix all the work problems. And then go to pilates, which will be a good ending to the day if work is still being a pain.
Work has put me in a bad mood, but this weather certainly has helped!! ?
I am SOOOOO glad its the weekend. I love my students but they were getting on my last nerve today. They have been so negative and cranky this week and it's making me negative and cranky. I really needed the weekend off. I am hoping to relax a bit.
I'm not really sure what the plans are for the weekend. It sounds like we might be doing brunch with friends on Sunday. Also, my sister just found out that she has a grad school interview in Boston on Monday morning so her and my mom are coming up from VA for at least part of the weekend (details were still fuzzy last time we talked). I'm looking forward to seeing them and hopefully getting in some good pre-baby time with them, I probably won't get to see them again until after she arrives this summer.
Also, everyone is keeping my baby shower date a secret and I have a sneaky sucpision that my shower might be this weekend but I'm trying not to focus too much on that because I want to enjoy the weekend. DH has just made some comments lately that on their own don't add up to much but lumped together with the fact that my mom and sister will be here = shower being a possibility. But who knows ... I'm just excited to see family and not be dealing with negativity for a few days. I'm hoping that the kids and I will all be in better moods next week.
I'm at home... and bored... DH isn't getting home from his work trip until later tonight. I have a bunch of housework to do so I'm trying to motivate to do that.
Tomorrow, bodypump in the AM then shopping for a new washer/ dryer... and then possibly meeting up with a friend in the evening. DH is meeting up with his best friend (last weekend before his wedding).
Sunday- DH is leaving at some point for work... nothing else planned.
This weekend (starting today) is just going to run into pretty much every day for the next three weeks.
This morning, I got up, cleaned up my apartment a little, ran to the vet, grabbed my suitcases, packed my cats, and hopped a plan to GA for the wedding!
(Wedding gush ahead!!) I am SO excited it's finally here, we've been planning this for 14 months!! We landed (I got REALLY sick on the plane), settled the cats in with my in-laws, went to dinner, and are finally headed to bed. But we have left our apartment as "single" people for the last time, the next time we are in Boston, we will be married! So we're finally in GA, I'm getting my hair dyed (and FI is getting his cut) on Sat. morning, and we are nonstop until next Saturday, which is the day of the wedding! We leave Sunday morning for our honeymoon in Maui, stay there a week, then back to Atlanta for a week, and we'll be back in Boston in May!
So excited for you. Hope the next week goes smoothly, next weekend is lovely, and your life with your soon-to-be husband is wonderful!
Kiwi - sounds like you may be having a shower this weekend! If so, enjoy
Rynna - this week is going to go by insanely fast for you, but just try to soak up as much of it as you can! And enjoy your honeymoon - that's the best part of the wedding because you don't have to worry about anything anymore, just relaxing! I hope you guys have an amazing day!
Thanks Kiwi and JCam!
Kiwi- you'll have to let us know if you had a surprise shower!
