Please Recommend Your Camera - Digital, Point & Shoot
We need to get a new camera and I would appreciate your suggestions.
Looking to spend $200 or less on a point and shoot. I would like fast, good quality pics, something small/slim. My camera now takes so long when you turn it on and to take multiple in succession.
I checked out the photography board on the bump and the board seems to be for more serious photographers.
Thanks!

I really like my Kodak EasyShare. It's great with turning on ASAP and catching moments with my small children.
Here is a link to the one that I have.
I have a Cannon PowerShot. I have the 12mp but this one is similar and $160. It is awesome, and has a better zoom than most.

FWIW I'd stay away from EasyShare cameras- I've had 2 they've been POS, so I quit buying them. I was Kodak faithful with film cameras and their digitals are really disappointing.
Stand up for something you believe in.

You cannot go wrong with a Canon. I have the Powershot SD 790 IS, which is a bit more than you are looking to spend, but any Canon is fantastic.

I had my first EasyShare since 2004 and it just now (6 years later) has had minor problem caused by my kids dropping it.
Maybe it depends on the model...b/c I went through 2 Easyshares in 2 years....and I never even dropped them or anything. They just stopped working, and the cost to get them repaired wasn't worth it. I have had my current Canon for 2 years without a single issue.
