City of Strangers
Hey Everyone, At the risk of sounding desperate, I've decided to put myself out there and admit that I have found Las Vegas to be one of the more difficult cities to make friends. Neither myself or my husband have jobs that involve coworkers or people in the community and it seems just a little bit harder to make connections. I am wondering if some of you on this site might be having this same experience? I found this site a few weeks ago and I have already met a really cool couple and have talked with a few people who are interested in having a few get togethers. That being said, after a few weeks of being on this site I have noticed that it's a little challenging to follow up on posts and keep track of when people can get together and making sure that everyone is informed of dates and times. I was wondering if people would be open to a facebook group as a way of making things easier and making sure that everyone who is interested gets updates on suggested get togethers and such. In anticipation that people might find this interesting, I went ahead and started a group called "Las Vegas Nesties". If you are on facebook, feel free to join and maybe it will make planning a little bit easier. Thanks for taking the time to read this~ Stacy

I totally agree! My job also does not involve an office and set coworkers so it is a challenge to meet people. I'd love to get together and meet everyone sometime! I signed up for the facebook page too. : )
