Hi Ladies,
I need some help planning my son's 3 yr party. He is into trucks, planes, and trains so I'm thinking a "Transportation Theme". We will probably have it at our house or a local park. I want to think of some fun activities or DIY decor. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Re: Birthday Party Ideas
Lots of great ideas.
You could get these wood cars and have the kids paint them.
I once went to a Thomas-themed party where the mom rented a little tram (with a driver) that looked like a train that had the kids going through the neighbohood. They loved it.
I would suggest one of those rugs for the kids to play on. Maybe make a game out of it.

HTH!
One of our favorite rainy day activities is making masking tape roads...

For decor you could make paper airplanes to hang from the ceiling.
Traffic signs would make great decor.
Gather up some large cardboard boxes from an appliance store, etc. Pre cut them into cars, a train or planes, whatever you choose (so windows, doors, wheels, wings). Set out paint, markers, crayons, stickers (you can cut contact paper into strips and use that as giant stickers for stripes, etc) and let them go to town decorating them. Great photo op when done.
