I would buy it if I would wear it enough for the purchase price. I.e, jeans that cost $100, but wear almost 100 times a year cost a dollar and then less each time you wear it.
i'm not a good one when it comes to making sensible purchases girl; if it were me, I'd get it, but yeah, do you have enough occasions to wear it without it being repetitive?

I don't know if this would interest you at all, but one of my favorite craft blogs recently did a tutorial on how to DIY a similar necklace (at a fraction of the price, obviously) - clicky if you're interested.
I L-O-V-E it!!!! Like you, I only wear one necklace...and mine is soooo boring. If I knew how to wear fashion necklaces I would snatch that puppy up in a heartbeat!

okay, i will actually try to talk you out of it:
...erm...all those sharps angles cutting into your neck - it looks itchy. yeah, something like that.
I really like it & think it is really beautiful, but I know I wouldn't get my money's worth out of it. I am the same as you...I pretty much always wear the same simple necklace & buy bigger ones with hopes of changing it up...and then I don't!
But if you had a super special occasion coming up, maybe it would be worth it even if it was just a one time wear.
