I need help with wording on an invite.

I am planning my Future SIL's bachelorette party and I am not sure how to word the invite. We are going to my parents lake cabin ( brides request) and just having a laid back saturday/sunday playing board games and cards, and having a few drinks. It's not going to be anything fancy, just grilling and a few meat and cheese tray's and snacks. I just don't know how to relay this to the guests.

  • Come help us say goodbye to Sally's single life!

Join us for a laid back weekend of cards, drinks and good food at Lake Arrowhead.
    Saturday, April 10th - Sunday, April 11th....

    HTH!

This sounds perfect.  If I was invited and got that invite, I would definitely know what expect.

BTW - I think it sounds like a great Bachelorette!

  • you might also want to say "call me at ........ for more details"

That way if you want them to bring anything, either food, bedding, and what not, you can talk about it one on one
