I'm a little tardy in responding, but yes, we watch Treme & really like it. I think it is pretty authentic, but I wonder if people without ties from NOLA get it. Even my friends from northern La didn't catch a lot of things, but I think (or should I say, hope) it will be like SATC & NY. There were tons of things in that show that only those familar with NY would get & it didn't seem like anyone not in NY minded.
I just hope it is a big hit & give NOLA lots of good publicity!

It definitely seems very accurate and I like the local references too
I find that it moves a little slow but I was told that's the producers style so maybe I just have to get used to it.

For awhile, I saw Steve Zahn everywhere I went. It is nice when the actors really enjoy the city & take it all in. but I guess it is easier for less well-known celebs to do it.
